Google Drive launches today with 5GB of free storage!

Google Drive is officially launched today with 5GB of free storage space. According to Google Blog, Docs is inbuilt into Google Drive. It is available for PC and Mac and its app is available for Android devices and in coming soon state for iPhone and iPad.

I think little bit on a shorter side as most of the other free cloud storage services already offering 5GB space so why would you go for Google drive.

    You are right Mohsin, but as Google has a reputed name in Search field, many people may try Google Drive. ๐Ÿ™‚

nice write up must say google are now a days doing every thing they can to kill all internet marketing like dropbox coz 5 GB is quit enough if we compare it with dropbox 2 GB

Google seems to be involving in all sorts of things now. From search, to social media and now online storage. I wonder if one day they will become so powerful until we see them everywhere from earth to the moon. Thanks for the post Naser!

I still prefer SkyDrive and Dropbox over Google Drive. However, Google has forced me to like Google Drive service by merging docs service with it ๐Ÿ™
I still prefer Dropbox, though.
